ALLURE limited edition of 100!
The Allure Chrono manual Full Black chronograph, in a limited edition of 100 pieces, embodies timeless elegance and horological precision. Entirely black, this model plays on the subtle contrasts between a matte yet glossy case and a deep dial, magnifying every detail. Inspired by the automotive world, this watch reflects the power and refinement of black bodywork. Its old radium SLN hands and hour markers stand out with striking clarity, reminiscent of sports car cockpit instruments. Sleek and bold, the Allure Chrono manual Full Black transcends convention, establishing itself as a symbol of mastery and sophistication.
Two Icons of Black, Two Visions of Excellence
The Allure Chronographe Manuel Full Black, with its round case and design inspired by Formula 1 racing in the 70s, evokes the mechanical chronometers of legendary drivers. A symbol of freedom and pure passion. For this limited edition, it is accompanied by the Série-R Full Black, a watch with an assertive square design. Together, these two models offer an unprecedented choice: the authentic, sporty charm of the Allure or the contemporary audacity of the Série-R. Two interpretations of black, in the image of your personality.
HAND-WOUND CHRONOGRAPH
Powered by a hand-wound Seagull ST1901 movement meticulously fine-tuned by our French watchmakers, this movement takes its inspiration from the legendary Swiss Venus 175 movement (manufactured until the 60s). One of its distinctive features is the emblematic column wheel, which manages the various chronograph functions, acting as the true gearbox of this caliber. This movement is characterized by its reliability, meticulous finishing and comfortable 45-hour power reserve.
Specific “mono-eye” dial
To ensure instant readability of the indications, especially when driving, the sub-counters are in different colors, consistent with the dial colors while playing on contrasting effects. Ideally positioned at three o'clock, the chronograph minute counter is black with orange indications, while the small seconds counter at nine o'clock is black with white markings. The applied hands and hour markers feature faceted and SLN (Super-LumiNova) finishes with a slightly aged tint, evoking the radium aesthetics of yesteryear to reinforce its vintage look. The dial also features two scales: a pulsometer to measure the rider's heartbeat, extending to 150 beats per minute and shifting to the red zone near 200 beats per minute, and a tachometer calibrated from 0 to 240 km/h.
BACK TO BASICS
This chronograph, designed for drivers and motor sports enthusiasts, comes in a 39mm-diameter stainless steel case. A meaningful dimension, since it perfectly evokes the spirit of the sports chronograph adopted by drivers in the 60s and 70s. It's all about the details. Looking at the dial, it's obvious that every attribute has been thought out to illustrate the philosophy of this sporty watch, evoking the golden age of competition. A time of daring and recklessness, creativity, discovery and experimentation. The automobile was a symbol of freedom. In the face of danger, drivers showed great courage. As Jackie Stewart, one of the greatest F1 drivers, so aptly summed up: “It was a time when sex was safe and motor racing was dangerous.”
The Black, a bridge between the automotive and watchmaking worlds
Black, a symbol of mystery and sophistication, has left its mark on the automotive world, and is also echoed in watchmaking. In both fields, this hue embodies both elegance and the quest for timelessness. Iconic cars such as those with black bodies and sculptural lines evoke an aesthetic reminiscent of the sober, precise design of exceptional timepieces. This parallel underlines a common language of refinement and performance shared by car and watch enthusiasts.
In both cases, black remains a timeless signature, associated with luxury and precise mechanics, whether in the form of a powerful engine or a perfectly orchestrated watch mechanism.
