IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE MYTHICAL SPORTSCARS

Serie R - Racing Colors

Inspired by the most beautiful sports cars of the 1930s, this new capsule collection clearly displays its automotive DNA: a dial with a corked finish and a pusher inspired by dashboard buttons to project yourself behind the wheel; iconic colors that celebrate Grand Prix champions; and always our Strap racing, whose construction is reminiscent of a driver's glove. AUTO Bleu de France and Rosso Corsa: two dials with a plugged finish, push-pieces inspired by dashboard pistons, and colours in homage to the champions of the legendary Grand Prix automobiles . At the time, the different countries competing were identifiable by the colour of their cars: the famous Bleu de France for the French, the Rosso Corsa for the Italians. So, which team will you be racing for?

PRECISE AND RELIABLE MOVEMENT

The [Re]Naissance 24H are equipped with Japanese Miyota 9120 movements, which is certainly the best value for money on the market. Why Japanese and not Swiss? Simply because at the factory, the Japanese movements are really close to the Swiss performances (reliability, precision). The only downside is that they are thicker and not as pretty, Aso we decided to do something about it!

A FINE TUNED ENGINE

So we decided to do something about it! When the movements are received, the oscillating mass is dismantled to be engraved by laser, the pattern referring to car grills. Then on to the paint shop where the blue-white-red stars of the Depancel logo are hand-painted. And we don't stop there! The movement then takes the direction of the calibration.

AS A PILOT

Selected with the utmost care in a French tannery.our bull calf leather is then sewn by hand.... Quality leather, meticulous finishes and a construction reminiscent of driver's gloves... to project yourself directly behind the wheel of your favourite sports car!

At Depancel, we’re on a mission to put beautiful mechanics on the maximum number of wrists! And to do that, we’re focusing on quality rather than quantity: we make few timepieces, but we make sure to make the good ones.
